Great selection of restaurants on the tour. We visited 6 restaurants- Cuban, burger, pizza, urban market, deli and ended with a desert place. We enjoyed getting the history and background of the restaurants from the owners. Left the tour satisfied and full from all of the different food. The tour allowed us me to try different styles and types of... More

Jasmine our tour guide was excellent! She's a proud Durham native who is passionate about the Durham food scene. He enthusiasm about the restaurants and bars we visited was obvious and she made our experience very enjoyable. If you want to explore the cuisine available in this thriving town, start with the taste of Carolina as your first exposure. Be... More

We are locals and still had a fabulous time on this restaurant tour of downtown Durham. We don't got out alot so it was a great way to experience 6 different establishments. They were very different from each other and all had delicious food and drink. I wondered if it would be odd to try so many different foods at... More

I went on the Durham evening tour today and enjoyed the culinary experience. Great restaurants and great food. Enjoyed the pace and the tastes. What was lacking, though, was a better kind of narrative to explain where we were, and link to the tour to the town. Definitely good value for money, but we expected a bit more story.

My family did this tour of Durham restaurants right after the holidays. My brother just moved back to Durham and although he was familiar with some of the restaurants, he hadn't eaten at any of the places we went. We are from much farther away and so it was all new to us. The tour guide, Kat, was cheerful, energetic,... More

It was a great experience. Food in the first restaurant was very very good, and I didn't like very much the food in the last one but this is a personal taste. The experience is very nice and the crew is awesome! I had a great time.

Whether you've lived here for years or are just visiting, this tour was a fabulous way to spend a Saturday afternoon. You get to sample 5-6 different local spots, chat with chefs/owners about their establishments, and learn local history along the way. We participated in Durham as part of a birthday celebration and our tour guide Cat did not disappoint!... More

This is a MUST if you are visiting NC from somewhere else, or if you are new to NC, or if you have lived here for a long time-basically, everyone should do this. I know there are a few different cities involved in the project, but we did Durham as this is where my friends live who we were visiting.... More

This is a great way to get to know the city of Raleigh. Super nice that you actually get to sit down and relax for a few minutes in each restaurant. We went back to two of the restaurants later for full meals. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice.
