Beyond the starkness and significance of the event that occurred here, the structures remind us of the times of the late 1860's and how difficult life was then. As we whiz by historical locations, it is easy to forget those who came before us.

This site of the largest Confederate surrender is a must-see for history buffs. Friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic volunteers will tell you anything you want to know.

i remember there being enough room, but I'd call the site and ask them if it's okay before you actually try to park a big rig on their property.
