We went here and learned so much. After so many steps we finally got to the top, and the view is incredible! Would totally recommend spending a few hours walking around here.

The climb up was hot and sweaty, but worth the view at the top. It’s a unique light with interesting history, and amazing views. I pray the hurricane is kind to it so many can enjoy for years to come

We did this adventure around noon on one of the hottest days of the year. The amount of stairs sounds daunting but the builders of the steps took that thought and created more than enough landings so you do not have to go all the...More

I would absolutely recommend visiting this lighthouse. There are multiple landings along the way up the 220 steps to the top with historical information to read making it a really easy climb. We went up on a very clear day and had some beautiful views...More

Having been to the top several times over the years, I was determined to make it for the last time. Whoopee! 78 and I made it, thanks to the landings on the way up and the courteous visitors coming down who wait on the landings...More

We visited the lighthouse. It was worth the money to climb to the top (it may seem like a lot to climb, but the view is well worth it!) Definitely walk to the top- it isn't hard, and the view is great.

In total about 10-20 minutes. It takes about 10 minutes to climb and the view from the top takes about 10 minutes depending upon how long you want to stay. It’s a self-guided tour. I would say 30 minutes maximum.

Adults cost $10, however if you just want to go inside and take a photo looking up at the spiral stairway there is no cost.
