We loved Lake Norman! We visit here every year. Sunsets on Lake Norman are so romantic. It is a great place for everyone. Plenty of varied food attractions around the lake.

Two pleasant and helpful women were working at the center when we arrived. Asked the nature of our our visit and provided an adequate number of pamphlets and brochures, as well as personal suggestions.

We kayaked on Lake Norman this past Saturday and we had a fantastic time!!! We went early thinking there would be less traffic on the water and there was, but even when it did pick up, we still were able to maneuver around just fine!

We paddle board and kayak here several times a week. Water gets very busy and choppy on weekends by noon. Several ospreys around with their young if you like birds. Many turtles and fish too. I've seen a few snakes not many.
