We stopped in with friends and had a real nice time looking around! There are a lot of things that were made by the Cherokee Indians that are on display and for purchase.

Great first place to stop when visiting Cherokee. Lots of good information, with locals to share it. Love the deck overlooking the river. There was free popcorn when we went. Restrooms in good shape and clean.

Our first stop in Cherokee was the visitor center where we received helpful info (maps and referrals) by the ladies on duty; they also offered us coffee and/or popcorn. Conveniently located near the Cherokee Museum, etc.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and the view from the back porch is awesome. Probably need a couple more people working there on the weekends and during peak travel times.

Not much to really say about a visitor's center but it was really nice inside and the employees were very friendly.
