Do not miss this while in Cherokee! Extremely interesting, friendly staff. Gift shop is well stocked and has lovely items.

Loved! Great to visit with our family with 4 young kids. Learned a lot of the history of the Cherokee, some audio was hard to hear.... a much see!

Great place to learn about the history of the Cherokee and our country. Fabulous gift shop with items handmade by local craftsman and Cherokees. My young kids enjoyed it as well!

This museum is very informing on Cherokee traditions, Cherokee language, Trail of tears, dances, etc. It has a gift shop.

I recommend getting the headphone tour for the 2 dollars. But you can do without if you read fast. But if you have the time and want to really know about the Cherokee then take time and listen.

Educational and insightful are not even close to describing what you will experience once you enter the doors. It is a must for anyone visiting the area.

I visited the museum in Oklahoma, and the one in Cherokee NC. Both are good. The one in North Carolina is better. So if you only go to one, pick North Carolina. If you do go, don't miss on the outside tour. They have a... More
