Liken it to a mini, Central park, Romare Bearden is truly a great place to hang out, do some yoga, let the kids run around or take photos. There's a really nice fountain, and lots of great views of the skyline. It's also not a...More

I have visited at Christmas for the European village, movies on Friday night in the summer and many times for just playing with Grandkids. Great urban park

I love Romare Bearden Park. They offer a lot of different things to do there throughout the year. I especially love the summer concert series. It's so beautiful to listen to music under the sky.

Several green spaces for the kids to run and be free. Just watch out for the dog poop as not everyone had picked up after their pet when we were there. Beautiful flowers and interesting water fall area as well.

Nice to have a family picnic surrounded by the green, there are also fountains, grass lawns and sweet scenting bushes. Parking is free after 6 p.m.

Had a great time here with high school classmates, enjoying one of the summer beach music concerts. This is definitely not the same Charlotte where I grew up. Lots of activity. Lots of new buildings. Very vibrant area near restaurants and the sports arenas. Recommended.

Nice park in the middle of downtown. Good place to sit and relax, or stretch your legs. Park is also used to host small-sized events throughout the year.

I work uptown Charlotte and if it's a nice day I enjoy walking around. Different plants and the summer events they put on are fun to attend.

Go to the local city offices and if that doesn't work, go to the county offices.
