We spent here about 2 and a half hours. All the airplanes are in one large hangar. Not too many of them – but enough to keep you entertained + the advantage that your kids can’t really get lost. There is an outdoor exhibition that...More

This museum has the actual plane that landed in cold Manhattan water in 2009 after geese destroyed the engines after take-off. It also has displays devoted to the Wright brothers, several older planes, and cock pits that you can enter. Although I am not especially...More

Seeing the intact US Airways Flight 1549 (Sully Sullenberger and Jeffrey Skiles glide landing on the Hudson) was impressive. Very interesting video of the events. Several other aircraft are contained indoors at this museum, it is worth a visit.

This is a fascinating museum for aviation buffs of all ages. It was incredible to see the USAir "Miracle on the Hudson" in real life. Such a story.....well told, well documented. Be sure to catch the movie about this feat of airmanship. The staff was...More

The star of the show is the "Miracle on the Hudson," whose story is told in fascinating detail. The best part is that you can see the plane itself, along with artifacts recovered from the crash, while learning about the way the events unfolded from...More

Well put together collection, a gorgeous DC3, some retired fighter jets and Judy absolutely blown away by Miracle on the Hudson being there. It odd the centerpiece of the collection and for great reason. Highly recommend this museum

Was extremely disappointed in parents with hoards of children just letting them run over people who were trying to enjoy the museum. Reason why I left museum early.

Nice way to kill a few hours before flying out! They have the real "miracle on the Hudson" (Sully) plane on display!

In the area and wanted something to fill some time. I had read the low reviews and still decided to go. I'm glad we did. This is a smaller museum, but they had about 16-18 aircraft when we visited. For the history, if you take...More

While not expecting much, we spent about 2 hours here and ended up totally appreciating "The Miracle on the Hudson" as well as other tidbits of aviation history. Note that the museum has no a/c so it might not be the place to go on...More

I would say a minimum of 2 hours to get an overview of everything and max of 3 hours if you want to watch the informative videos/presentations.

If there are any, I did not find them. There are several fast food restaurants a mile or so away on Billy Graham Parkway. I would say eat something before you go because there is nothing to eat at the Museum.
