What a delightful museum! I was completely surprised by the number of wonderful contemporary art exhibits. The museum is large and open which makes it not feel crowded. Affordably priced. The onsite restaurant was great for a cocktail and snack. But above all, don't miss...More

I was rather disappointed in this museum. There was a very good wood section but the rest was far too spaced out and didn't hold my interest. The shop however is very well done.

Take your time going through the 5 floors of interesting work of art. I liked the museum as a couple of sections is just dedicated to one artist, also they have some videos how the artist created their art. Liked Romare Bearden and Michael Sherill’S...More

Great exhibits. Lots of different art to feed everyone’s fancy. Cost is medium. Clean and well laid out. Worth the time.

Stopped by here on a Wednesday evening (free admission after a certain time). Wow, what a delightful experience. An impressive variety of artistic mediums on display. A must see in Charlotte.

The Mint truly is an incredible asset in Charlotte, and the rotating exhibits offer something for nearly everyone. For those of you not as interested in the exhibits themselves, the Mint has an outstanding gift shop with ideas for those especially hard to buy for...More

I visited the museum for the 1st time 2y ago. It's very nice, not too big, but it really worth a couple of hours visit if you like contemporary and modern art.

Interesting collections, wide open spaces, nice staff. It's a museum, but they do their best to bring in interesting exhibits.

We spent an hour to view the American Art on the 9th November 2018. The entrance fee is $15 per person. For senior citizens, the fee is $10. There are oil paintings and sculptures made by the renowned and also lesser known artists. We enjoyed...More

Wished the Randolph location of the Mint Museum a few times over the years. First visit to the beautiful Uptown location. I loved the survey of American fine art, but it is in crafts that this museum really shines.

There's underground parking at the building next door (Levine Centre for the Arts) I believe the entrance to the parking is on W. Stonewall St. It's $3.00 per half hour during the day, $5 after 5pm.
