With the weather being what it is we were able to use the outside seating area which can hold hundreds of people. There were umbrellas for shade, corn hole, beer trucks, and food trucks all at your fingertips. I highly recommend for a great time...More

Visited the new brewery location on their first week of operation. The beer was as good as ever. This is one of my favorite microbreweries in the country - and I've visited many. In the new location they are now offering food....and that's where things...More

Well, clearly it’s German beer. Stopped for the beer and enjoyed some simple German bites. Weird as it is the red cabbage reminded me of a trip to Germany. Beers are pretty straight forward and the IPA lover and Belgium drinker both found something we...More

This is the best brewery/beer garden in Charlotte. Large outdoor area is the perfect place to relax with friends. Indoor areas are fantastic for entertaining, eating or just getting out of the weather. A great selection of beer and food. You won’t regret a visit...More

A large palace designed as a beer garden with an eating section. We ate the bratwurst, the schnitzel and crab cakes. Very tasty and well prepared. The beer mentioned in the subject was excellent. Nice service and reasonably priced.

A fun place, with lots going on. We recently went during their Mecktoberfest, and the place was packed. Lots of good beer choices, but the German food seemed a little "mass produced", and pretty average. And it's very over priced. But it still was a...More

Stopped at Old Mecklenburg Brewery for a tour, lunch & drinks while staying in the Charlotte area. Great time for all. Wonderful beer selection, great food (best Rueben that I've had along with great pretzels). Atmosphere much like the beer halls of Munich. Plenty of...More

I’ve only lived in Charlotte for a year, and as a small business owner with only a home office, I will jump at the chance to have a meeting at Old Meck. It’s a big German-esque beer hall but doesn’t get too loud and the...More

Not the 1st time I've been here, but it's been very nice on both occasions. Food is excellent, sausages are very good, as is the reuben sandwich. A must has to be the hot pretzel, simply delicious. Order it with the mustard AND the cheese...More

We stopped here with our dogs while waiting for our hotel room to become available. Nice shady area, wide paths, music, good beer. Food was ok, and too pricey for the portions. We had a nice time there.

OMB continues to deliver even while CLT seems to have exciting new breweries opening every week. Hornets Nest is a heffeweissen winner. The beirgarten is fantastic day or night. Looking forward to going back for OMB’s Octoberfest celebration in September.

Yes there is. Not a large selection but it was on the menu and the lady next to me was sipping happily on her glass.
