Although it was a bit early in the season for many plants and trees, it was a nice way to spend an hour or so in a peaceful setting. Well designed with not a lot of walking.

Always a relaxing visit. Well cared for. Parking areas are provided. Good paths and descriptions are interesting, fun, and up-to-date.

The NC Botanical Garden has plants, sculptures and also has great hiking paths to explore. All year round there are activities to do.

The NC botanical gardens are neat to see. The varity of native plants is large. There are also alot of trails behind the gated garden which you can access at any time. The gian chess set is a must see in the gardens

If you have a little extra time when in CH you should spend it at the Botanical Garden. They have a good gift shop and rotating art, etc but the walk through the garden is worth your time.
