This visit was very special to me, being a Carolina basketball fan since I was a child and always wanting to visit campus. I was so excited to experience this with my daughter and the museum didn't disappoint. Everything was so inspiring, took tons of pictures, getting to see all the history of Carolina Basketball was incredible. To top it... More

Was an awesome experience as a basketball fan. Thought the museum would be bigger but everything they have in there is really nice.

If you're a Tar Heel basketball fan, you'll love this museum. If not, you will find it boring. But that is probably obvious!

This is a fascinating place even if you are a casual basketball fan (as I and my wife are). Of course if you are a Tar Heel, you might spend all day here! The opening 5 minute movie of UNC basketball sets up the experience. It was interesting to look at the different displays and read the letters written to... More

Didn't think I was going to enjoy this since I'm from PA and a Duke fan but this was really cool. Take the time and walk through, especially if you like college hoops. You can feel the history of the program as you walk around. Nice exhibits!

It's a great museum - lots of video clips, game balls, uniforms. And it's free! Great look at the program as a whole, not just recent stuff.

This is a terrific collection of UNC basketball history and lore! For any fan of college basketball (even if you are not a Tar Heel fan) this is a must see. Located adjacent to the "Dean Dome". Be sure to find Michael Jordan's offer letter to play at UNC. After the museum, take a stroll on the campus and then... More

This was one of the nicer surprises while visiting UNC for the day. It is a free museum that is nicely laid out and very informative. We did the self guided tour that starts with a nice introductory film. Worth a couple hours visit while in the area!

I am not a sports enthusiast by any means, but I do love museums and learning new things. This museum is small but is chock full of interesting information. So glad we stopped in.

We were in town and I'm a huge UNC fan so I was showing my child around the campus and we stopped by the basketball court. It wasn't open but one of the employees recommended to me to stop over to the museum. It was so cool, the women sitting at the entrance was adorable and was nice. We walked... More
