The Chinese Lantern Festival here was awesome. You walk around and about a dozen or more installations of vibrant colors featuring pandas dragons squirrels, Christmas decorations flowers etc. Each one is worth a pause for photos. On the half hour there is a show of...More

It was quite cold and not very crowded which was nice. The “tunnel” entering the exhibit was cool, but a bit anticlimactic after that. The construction of each item was interesting. And, the the live show was nice but difficult to see if you were...More

We have been coming to Koka Booth Amphitheater for years and love the intimate setting. Always a good "seat" and love the food trucks that come.

I don’t think I’ll bother to come back. The place has a tiny parking lot, if that much. As if the outrageous ticket prices weren’t enough, you also have to pay to park... or park in the lots of nearish businesses. The BLT sandwich is...More

I have to imagine that people just don't understand what is possible at a music venue like this one, and how completely delightful it is to spend an evening here! I went to hear Rachmaninov's Third Piano Concerto... and I don't love classical music... but...More

Very laid back. Free (usually when the symphony plays here, ticket is $25-30. On July ;’4, and some other performance, you can bring a picnic, including wine and beer. Fireworks over the lake after sunset are great.

I really love seeing performances at Koka Booth. It’s a fairly small amphitheater so no matter where you sit your view is pretty good. I’ve always purchased seats, but the lawn seating is very popular and you’ll be able to see the stage well. I...More

We visited for the lantern festival. We were impressed with the venue and the show. Great facilities (concessions, restrooms) and plenty of places to stop and rest. They even had several food trucks on site. The festival itself was awesome, we were impressed with the...More

Very nice to see but one time will be enough for us. Glad we went and saw it. You walk along and paved and grass trail and see some beautiful and whimsical lanterns. The colors are very nice.

I haven't been to Lantern Festival yet but knowing the area I would say you should be able to find seating intermittently between lanterns.
