Quirky par 6 does not detract from overall experience

Nice course in good shape, pleasant staff, forgiving fairways, no noise from traffic or city, great respite from the usual Myrtle Beach hubbub

Third time I've played here. Great mix of challenging holes, but all are fair with no trickery. Some may find the grain on the Bermuda greens difficult to manage, but they were in very good shape. In the morning before the breeze, there can be annoying bugs but just apply spray. Pace was reasonable (4:20) for a busy Saturday morning.

This is the fourth time I have played this course and every time the pace of play is worse! Although the course is in great shape and is an interesting track, I can't recommend it due to poor management of tee times. Having 4-5 groups waiting on par 3s is ridiculous. The Marshall seemed unconcerned at the bottlenecks. There are... More

Great conditions all over the course. Wide open fairways with good bunkering make this course both a bombers course and a shot makers course. There are many good holes, but the 18th will be the hole that you remember. A tee shot around a lake, a second shot and third shot where the lake is in play on the left... More

Everybody raves about the 700+ yard par-6 finishing hole (which is fun to play) but I also really love the par-3 holes as well. They have some tee boxes that allow them to not only vary the length but also the direction on these holes. I played the course from the blue tees and hit everything from a 6-iron to... More

Had an enjoyable time playing this course which was in great shape. A funny thing about this course is that it goes from NC to SC and switches over a few times as you play golf. They were explaining how the golf beverage cart would cross over and not be allowed in South Carolina (or vice versa) when beer is... More

This is the sister course to Meadowlands, just down the road, but I far prefer Farmstead. It just sets up better to my eye and is a true test for all levels of golfers. Played on Dec.31 for my final round and the course was in great shape, especially considering the time of year. Greens were running fairly fast and very... More

Played in Nov... yes, some soft spots and grass filling in from overseed but great track. Greens were great. Staff were great - pro shop / restaurant ... front end/ cart staff lacking a bit... would play again for sure! Made the par 6 in 3!!

Played Farmstead and Meadowlands & both are beautiful courses albeit a little wet underfoot. Plenty of wildlife around but thankfully no alligators, course in good condition despite the soggy conditions. All staff extremely friendly and helpful with good advice. good variety of challenging holes.

Nice course that is in very good condition now. The greens are in particularly great shape. Nice pace of play, reasonably priced, and they have a par 6 finishing hole. Enjoy.
