My family did enjoy our time here. We stopped and spent about an hour year enjoying the scenery and taking pictures. The thing that bothers me is that it is just too bad that this is not part of a state or national park. Someone...More

Overpriced! Outdated! Ridiculous! $7.00 to walk through the door and see the "Rock.". Brochure states 15-25 minutes for self guided trail tour. More like 5-6 minutes. Nice views, but better views along roadways. Attendant unfriendly and not helpful with advice for hiking or dinning recommendation....More

There is nothing worth stopping here for which is a shame because they bill it as the oldest roadside attraction in NC, since 1933, which should be cool. Instead it is a gift shop that charges $7 to go out back.

This is a roadside attraction from another era. Great view from the ridge, but not much else, unless you count the gift shoppe.

It is a big rock. A short walk around the rock. Beautiful views but equal views can be found on roadside view spots. If it is a foggy day you see very little. Small gift shop. Save your time and go to Grandfather mountain.

Blowing rock definitely lived up to its name-it was snowing and 30-50 mph winds blowing . We braved it and had a really great time, and fun pictures ❄️💨

It was a foggy day, but the skies cleared as we approached the rock. Took a leaf and let it go--it came back to us. Very interesting phenomena. Hike to the rock was nice without being challenging.

The blowing Rock tells the legend of the Blowing Rock. It is 7.00 for adults and around 4 for children. Not a bad price if you plan to spend at least an hour taking in the whole place. There is a garden waterfall, nature trail,...More

Definitely worth stopping by! Easy to get to, has a gift shop as well. The view was breathtaking and it was crazy how much wind was blowing up. Great scenery, especially in the fall. Take a jacket tho, the wind was cold!
