You go here simply because the view is amazing, though there are plenty of places along the Blue Ridge Parkway that you can enjoy just as spectacular a view for free.

My hubby & I went with visiting friends. the day was beautiful and so were the views. Not much else though - just the usual touristy stuff and some food. But would go again for the views.
