Ensemble Stage moved their location to downtown Banner Elk in the old Elementary School building. Too bad for Blowing Rock, but you can still catch a production Summer, Fall, & their holiday performance in December over in Banner Elk. .

We saw Mind Games. It was excellent. We saw two other plays during the summer which were also good. The theater is in the elementary school auditorium which is okay. Some of the actors are professional, some are well trained amateurs.

This is the second year that we've gone to a play there . . . the acting is quite good (some locals and some equity) and you can see live theater for not much more than a movie
