Currently closed during the daytime hours. Will be open every Friday and Saturday evening beginning November 24 through December 30, 2017, for Tweetsie Christmas. Then we will re-open for daytime operation April 6, 2018. As North Carolina’s original family theme park, Tweetsie Railroad is a unique attraction that allows children and families to explore their imaginations and a whole lot more. Be a cowboy, cowgirl or an engineer. Shop along Main Street, pan for gold, or visit the animals in the Deer Park. Tweetsie has amusement rides for all ages and live entertainment throughout the park. And, of course, hop aboard our historic train for a fun-filled three-mile Wild West journey through the scenic mountains. Located in Blowing Rock, NC.

We have been to Tweetsie a few times. The young kids love it. The train in cheesy but our parents took us and we took our kids. I bet our kids will take theirs. It's just one of those places.

We had went to Tweetsie for the Christmas train and decided to come back to experience the wild west theme park at it's best. We came for opening day and what a day it was. There were plenty of rides for the little one. We...More

Tweetsie Railroad will always be a treasured memory for our family!! When our son-in-law was deployed, our granddaughters were devastated by his absence. A trip to Blowing Rock and Tweetsie saved the day! At ten and six, the girls were the perfect age. The park...More

We went here expecting it to be really cool and somewhat scary for Halloween, but it was not. It's set-up for little kids, so the show was cheesy, the mazes were simple, and the other things to do were just boring. We really tried to...More

You can’t beat Tweetsie for a great day of fun. Young children especially love the park and all the rides. Nostalgia will grip you as you watch your kids freak out with all the fun, actors, and staged robberies of the train.

We went for the Christmas special. For the price of tickets, there wasn't much to do. Snow globe had a way too long line, lights on the train ride were run of the mill, all of the "winter wonderland houses" weren't that at all. Our...More

This was a great holiday train ride (I have been on others). The decorating was probably the best part along with the activities like the snowglobe. The train ride itself was a bit chilly and I would recommend them getting some closed coach cars but...More

Yeah but better call them for winter, that area can be weird around winter time. Better to see what they close around the park during winter
