Currently closed during the daytime hours. Will be open every Friday and Saturday evening beginning November 24 through December 30, 2017, for Tweetsie Christmas. Then we will re-open for daytime operation April 6, 2018. As North Carolina’s original family theme park, Tweetsie Railroad is a unique attraction that allows children and families to explore their imaginations and a whole lot more. Be a cowboy, cowgirl or an engineer. Shop along Main Street, pan for gold, or visit the animals in the Deer Park. Tweetsie has amusement rides for all ages and live entertainment throughout the park. And, of course, hop aboard our historic train for a fun-filled three-mile Wild West journey through the scenic mountains. Located in Blowing Rock, NC.

My family and I love Tweetsie! I have been going since I was a very small child and I love being able to take my kids there now. Very safe environment. Caring staff. Love that the cowboys and other entertainers interact with the kids. We...More

You can’t beat Tweetsie for a great day of fun. Young children especially love the park and all the rides. Nostalgia will grip you as you watch your kids freak out with all the fun, actors, and staged robberies of the train.

We went for the Christmas special. For the price of tickets, there wasn't much to do. Snow globe had a way too long line, lights on the train ride were run of the mill, all of the "winter wonderland houses" weren't that at all. Our...More

This was a great holiday train ride (I have been on others). The decorating was probably the best part along with the activities like the snowglobe. The train ride itself was a bit chilly and I would recommend them getting some closed coach cars but...More

The Tweetsie Christmas was the first time this attraction ran. It was great. The train ride was very enjoyable for all who love Christmas. The whole town was themed around the holiday. The show at the town bar was excellent. Very talented group. Everything was...More

What a fantastic idea starting the Tweetsie Christmas. The train ride was so fun riding up the mountain in the dark seeing all the beautiful lights. It was only about 20 mins but perfect for the little ones. The carousel was fun and seeing Santa...More

What a great time to be had. You can play in a snow globe, listen to Christmas Carolers, and ride on an old steamtrain to look at a variety of Christmas Lights while singing along with old favorite Christmas Songs. Had an awesome time!

We were a little hesitant on how Tweetsie Christmas would turn out considering when we bought tickets we couldn’t find any reviews. I’m so so so glad we made this trip! It was amazing! They had everything very organized. There was plenty to do before...More

Went in after 4PM for a few hours and returned free the next day, great deal. Our twin 6 year olds had a wonderful time on all of the age-appropriate rides, the shows were perfect for their age group, and they loved the petting zoo....More

Your 11 year old is on the edge of being too old to enjoy most of it, but the rest will have a great time. She will enjoy it also as the rest of your kids are a perfect age for Tweetsie. We took our grandkids, ages 7 and 5... More

Yeah but better call them for winter, that area can be weird around winter time. Better to see what they close around the park during winter

The only comment I have about the use of wheelchairs at the Tweetsie Railroad is that most of the attractions are mostly located on the side of a fairly steep hill. The reason I say this is because I saw people having... More
