We stumbled onto this museum and were delighted with the collection and the landscape exhibit. This was the best thing in Blowing Rock by far. Go just for this.

My husband & I visited here while waiting for Hurricane Irma to leave Florida. Very nice Museum. Only took about 30 minutes to go thru. It's closed on mondays.
