If you are anywhere near Beaufort, be sure to visit the town and make sure to stop at the museum. Learned so much about the area from one of the docents. This is the friendliest little town we've been to in a long time!

We planned to visit the museum for an interesting day out of the sun and were pleasantly surprised to find admission was FREE. It was very interesting to learn about Blackbeard and others. Great museum.

It's a small indoor museum, I did not see any dogs when we were there. I'm thinking it would not be appropriate to bring dogs in.
