This place is so awesome. The swinging bridge scared the crap out of me and my son but was so well worth it. Looking out on that mountain so beautiful.

This is a really nice park to visit. It’s a little pricey but worth it if you do all the activities.

Grandfather Mountain has spectacular views in every direction. Hiking for all levels -- from easy to difficult. Animal habitats are fun for children.

It does not cost anything to park and hike in the state park. It only costs to go to the tourist area which is still privately owned.
