This beautiful spot is a hidden gem. I took some cousins from Europe there last year and they were speechless. It's beautiful and peaceful. This past holiday season the park was decorated with lights. It was worth freezing to see it. It was magical.

But is a bit of an over-rated dump now. We came here during the Christmas holiday to see the gardens in particular. While any garden is not in its fullest glory during winter, this place was disappointing in ways that had nothing to do with plantings or shrubbery. Although being a bit expensive for what it was, the entire place... More

Spring- Summer-Fall a true sight to see. A Garden Park from a Age Of Innocence Estate. The Manor Home has been raised but the park remains. Views of the Hudson and Palisades a added plus. Enjoy, Enjoy, and Enjoy.

Parking is fairly limited right at the sitend, but worth the effort. Wonderful waterfront gardens. Try to go when it's not busy on peak periods.

An historic jewel that was rescued from being forgotten, the gardens are being granted a new life through the painstaking work of the current team. The once-grand vision of a Persian garden are being restored in a loving way. The restoration work has made great progress and each new step is thrilling to see. A must-see glimpse into the glamorous... More

I was not aware of this garden until recently when our alumni group planned a work project to help cleanup this Garden. What a gorgeous place. You ought to get a group together to go help renovate/revive/preserve this beautiful place is incredible architecture, view, and gardens

The Untermyer gardens are part of an estate that was donated to Yonkers. For years it was rundown, but they've done a lot of work on it recently, this year adding a new waterfall and redoing a lot of the tiles in the Roman garden. You could easily drive by this place (it's on rte 9 a little south of... More

This used to be a privately owned estate with fabulous gardens overlooking the Hudson River. It has fallen into disrepair but over the last few years it has undergone extensive restoration, with some work obviously still needed. Now open to the public free of charge, it is definitely worth a visit, especially when the weather is good. It is apparently... More
