This is a very pleasant beach where you can bring the whole family. You can rent kayaks and canoes and it is never very crowded. The picnic area and the games for the kids are an extra bonus.

Wilmington Town Beach was close to our Inn. The beach area is very clean and there is a nice pavilion and park area. There is also a big parking lot. This is great for families.

It's surreal how peaceful and beautiful this place is! There was a free concert the day we were there, which was lovely. Kayaked in the river, swam and had a lovely time.

We were visiting from Sweden where you are free to swim anywhere you choose. We have been surprised at restrictions on where swimming is allowed here. This is the only place in the town where swimming is allowed in the river and then only with...More
