We arrived to find the place open and no sign of Julian. Eventually we discovered him mowing with his earphones on. He arrived to entertain us with his wit and wine knowledge. We left with several case of really lovely wine. My favourite being the sparkling chenin. We will visit again on our next trip to the region

We were so pleased to call in at Marri Wood during Easter and sample these amazing wines. The sparkling Chenin to start was a lovely dry style with lots of life. Julian's focus on Chenin also provides the Reserve still style and a dessert wine. (I can't wait to try the dessert wine with my famous pecan pie!) The museum... More

What a little gem. Julian will push Chenin into the company of Chardonnay & Cab Sav for this region, his sparkling has a unique signature and stands tall against the traditional bubble varieties. Great biodynamic winery to visit. Apart from the fantastic wines it is interesting to learn how you can have a great product that interacts with the environment.

I love Marri Wood wines. This vineyard is always a must for me when I am in Yallingup. Their reserve series Cab. Sav. is my all time favourite and I always make sure there is constant stock in my wine cupboard. My other favourite is the sparkling they make, "Grandis" is exceptional.

I had relatives from holidaying from Victoria interested in visiting 3 different Margaret River region wineries. There are many to choose from however we were most impressed by the Marri Wood Park biodynamic method of grape growing and the great wines are testiment to the enthusiam of the owner.
