I went down the metal stairs and found myself on a beautiful beach. The bay was calm. I like the dunes. They were attractive. It had white sand. Quite different. I stood still here and enjoyed my environment. Wow! This is a must see!

The first time we snorkelled this beach we kept to the inside of the yellow buoys thinking this was denoting a safe zone - and everyone else seemed to be doing the same. Whilst the water was absolutely crystal clear, the underwater scenery was average,...More

A lot of quokkas here. Rode our bike along the bay and enjoyed the beautiful scenery! We have heard there are sea lions in the bay but did not spot any

We stopped here but there no porpoises that day. Lovely spot. Again well sign posted and clean. Rottnest island is worth the visit.

Porpoise Bay -- or more correctly Dyer Island -- has a bachelor colony of Australian sea-lions. Divers will be interested by the wreck of 'The Shark,' which is visible from the shore.

Stopped off at the Parker Point bus stop (number 5) which was to one end of Porpoise Bay. Nice Bay with yachts anchored nearby. After a short walk down the stairs you get down the pristine white sand beach. Nice Stop.

I made the effort to get out early and was alone as I stepped onto the beach at 6.30am. It was warm and the water was a beautiful colour. The sea was warm and calm as I walked along the waters edge and I couldn't...More

Great place for a private swim especially in the evening! There are not much people around so you can just sit with a convenient stove and have a picnic on your own. Great place for a little privacy.
