The Pink Lake was very nice. As pink as pink could be. Was not disappointed. Well worth the visit. We visited on a lovely sunny day.

This out of the way place on the road north to Kalbarri is a photographer's dream on a cloudy day! Almost perfect reflections of the sky can be had at the south end of the lake. Truly beautiful, beyond the vista, not sur what this...More

We stopped here on our way south. The colour of the lake varies. We could image the pink of the promotions but when we were there you could just see possibilities of colour.

It's about a 65km drive from Kalbarri to the pink lake in Port Gregory. Apart from the quaint surprise of the pink lake appearing on the horizon, there's little beyond the 'Oh that's pretty' to fully hold your attention. We drove past it and into...More

View from the Port Gregory side for the best viewing - from the little slope you can get a pic of a pink lake and a blue pond divided by the road

Was driving to Kalbarri and noticed through the bushes there was a pink lake. There is no where to park however we found a spot to park on side of road. Walked through bushes to get a good view. Really pretty.

It's exactly what it says. Officially called Hutt Lagoon it's not actually set up to be a tourist destination. It's free, it's on the side of the road on the way to Port Gregory and it's good for a few happy snaps but there's no...More

Saw the lake while driving past, no visitor centre, no road signs to point you in the right direction. Could not find parking, saw a road trail and drove on it to the edge of the lake.

The Pink Lake on the way to Kalbarri is on the way to Monkey Mia and Coral Bay, both great places to visit. Esperance is a long way from the main tourist areas in south western Australia and it would require a long trip... More

It is not too far out of your way if you are heading from or to Kalbarri. I do not think you should swim in it but I could be wrong

Hi the best time is in Summer as the less water the lake is pinker. Make sure you visit in the middle of the day if possible as that will give you the best photo opportunity. Take the road into Port Gregory as that road has... More
