Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There are quite a few beach stops you can make along Yardie Creek Road along the Ningaloo Coastline including Turquoise Bay, which according to many publications is one of the most beautiful beaches in Western Australia.

We stopped here during our recent stay in Exmouth and found the beach at Turquoise Bay mighty impressive. Great sand for walking and relaxing. The water is a lovely turquoise colour, swimming and snorkelling conditions looked great although we just enjoyed our time on the beach this time around.

Quite a few tempting beach stops along the Ningaloo Coastline, this one is well worth stopping to check out or better yet, stick around and enjoy for a few hours.

Hired Car and drove to Yardie Creek and stopped at Turquoise Bay for snorkelling on way back in the Drift area. Was great until stung by an Irukandji jelly fish and after a 3/4 hour dash to the hospital spent three hours having pain killers administered. All good now but not fun at all.

Hands down the best beach in the area - the sandy is powder white and the water is clear, clean and turquoise. We visited many of the beaches up and down this coast and this was our favorite. We kept returning here during our stay.

To note, there is very little shade here (which is typical of Australian beaches in general). It was never crowded, the water was nice and warm. Did not see many fish in the drift but the beach is fabulous. I see why it has won Best Beach award. I would rate it one of my top 10 worldwide

Awesome experience. Just walk in from the beach to snorkel with all the tropical fish you can imagine plus rays, black tipped reef sharks also spotted. Drifting with the current. The most spectacular Turquiose water ever. One side for snorkelling and the other side of the point a calm bay for swimming & playing in the water. Great for kids,

One of the most beautiful places in the world for snorkeling. You can really see everything, while walking into the sea from the beach, swimming 20 meters and already hanging above the beautiful coral. The fish meet you in the shallow end of the beach. They like to warm up in the sun.
Good parking and toilets available. Never seen it (Dutch) busy here, this visit was the third time. Don't forget to buy the pass to WA National Parks.

If you want to snorkle from the beach by just walking out into the ocean, no boat needed, this is a good option. It is a beautiful beach, it was being enjoyed by a few people but not crowded or noisy. The carpark has 2 options ( beach or drift) we went drift. carpark also has toilets. Just walk to the left a bit along the sand before getting in the sea. You will drift along twards the point, just exit before the point as that section is dangerous. We saw corals and a variety of fish. There is a lovely shallow sandy section also to just hang out in which has fish in the shallows. Be aware there is no shade and Byo food and drinks.

Time and time again Turquoise Bay is named in the Top 10 beaches of the world. If you only had one option to see the coral and fish in Cape Range nation Park then go to this site. The sheer white sand, turquoise and blue coloured water with the coral reef only a 50 muter swim from shire makes it the prime spot for everyone. My tip is to come in the early morning around 8am to get the best visibility and calmness of the water.

We traveled from Exmouth to visit turquoise bay. It’s about a 40min trip by car which sees you travelling through the National park. There is a $15 entry for the park unless you have an all park pass. The car park was easy to get to and there are toilets down there as you arrive. The beach was immaculate however we went on a slightly stormy day so as you could imagine the water was a little cloudy and it started to rain. It’s definitely worth the visit however there isn’t anything else there so would recommend taking food and drinks with you and head down on a sunny day if you plan on staying on the beach. I can imagine the view would have been even more stunning.

Without a doubt, the nicest beach we visited in our month long trip in Australia. It mattered not a jot either that we were there in winter with lovely sunshine and warm temperatures. The water was a little cold but as Europeans, we are used to that! It was lovely to swim in, teeming with life too as the reef is only just off shore.
What we most loved was the peace and quiet. There are no crowds and it is totally undeveloped as it lies well within Cape Range National park.
There is a car park and viewing platform fort hose who don't want to go down to the beach itself. otherwise nothing, no bars, shops etc... perfect.

The beach is world class. Beautiful aquamarine water with reef close to shore that you can drift snorkel on. It is in a remote location so you are not inundated by crowds. It is part of the Cape Range national park so there is a fee attached to enter the park, but it is not very much. Well worth a visit
