The Park may look more appealing in Spring and early summer with an abundance of wildflowers but summer bush and tree blooms abound and are no less spectacular. There is an amazing diversity of vegetation from the humble bush to majestic trees. Plenty of roads through and nature trails for walking, even better that you drive through the Park to... More

Just loved the nature and beaches. If you can stay at Contos Camping Ground. It is absolutely beautiful (and peaceful). It has recently been extended with 2 extra loops so more spots but it was very quiet when we were there. Big clean kitchen and toilets but no showers. The caretakers were very nice people. Our 1 1/2 year old... More

We drove through the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park to get to the Mammoth Cave and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. Just had to stop and admire the beautiful and very tall Karri and Marri trees – simply spectacular!

This park is huge and you can see all sorts of nature : Bush,Beach, forest. It is worth to have a look on all of this especially in spring when you can see the different wild flowers. You can see the whales on the see and also a lot of wonderful birds. Take binoculars to have more fun.

We just left here this morning, stayed for two nights. The drop loos were perfectly clean, firewood chopped and supplied, no rubbish laying around. The camp care takers came around several times, happy to chat and suggest things to see and do. We loved the silence of a night, full moon meant we had some moonlight to sit under and... More

We camped at Contos for 4 nights, I highly recommend it. There is a gas stove and fragrant long drops. There is heaps of space to camp too! We walked down to the beach and were absolutely gob smacked with the serenity. It is stunning. You have to go here.

This national park is amazing, there is such a variety of scenery and it really show cases Australia's diverse landscapes. There is so much to see here; typical bush land areas, Karri tree forests, valleys full of grass trees, pristine beaches, walking tracks, four-wheel driving tracks, good driving roads and lots of wildlife. The park has a few camping grounds,... More

This National Park is the most beautiful in the south west. With the amazing beaches and rock formations its hard to not love this place. Take caves road all the way from one lighthouse to the other and along the way are countless spots to stop off and visit.

This was worth the walk along a track with numerous wildflowers and views of the ocean where whales could be seen.
