Denham appears to be an ideal and sheltered port for the many fisherman that visit each year. Having spoken to a fellow traveller, I was assured that the fishing continues to be a great pastime and good catches continue to be had from even small tinnies.

Loads of beautiful coves and beaches to explore, great fishing if you have a boat, not so good if you don't, loads of whiting and flat heads off the beaches. I spent 3 weeks at Denham seaside Caravan Park, I give it a review 2 days in but I should of waited, go anywhere else but there, it's not a... More

We thoroughly enjoyed a four day stop over. The sunsets were spectacular and our views from the caravan park out over Dirk Hartog Island were breathtaking. We sampled local fresh seafood from the Fish Factory and it was sensational. Highly recommend this location if you like fishing and relaxing.

The main town of Denham is a good base from which to explore the area - you can start by visiting the visitor information centre there. The town also has a couple of grocery stores and petrol pumps - prices are above average but to be expected due to logistics in getting everything delivered. We stayed for 4 days and... More

This is the best way to see Shark Bay. Tickets may be purchased at the Wildsights Villas in Denham or at the Monkey Mia office location. We went on the afternoon cruise one day and returned for the Sunset cruise the next. Both were thoroughly enjoyable and we saw Dugongs, Eagle rays and turtles. We dropped anchor 6 kms off... More

A Bucket List wish completed. Felt a bit disappointed this has been a dream for years. The dolphin experience as quite a disappointment. Fortunately we decided to go for an afternoon cruise on the Aristocat 2 - Now that was well worth the trip . We saw such amazing marine life. Still can't believe I have actually seen Dugong. Another... More

This has been a favourite fishing destination for my family for the past 40 years. I have visited Steep Point numerous times but the last several trips we have called at Shelter Bay in Shark Bay. I remember coming here as a child and it was wild and rugged. Not much has changed but since the government has taken control... More
