The little glass hut opens in the summer and is staffed by a delightfully helpful person. I might change this view if the pension she found for us further along the camino is no good, but I am sure it will be fine. The building is worth a visit just to see inside. With our very limited Spanish and definitely none of the local dialect between us, the tourist advisers were extremely helpful, polite and patient!! We left with free maps, prices for local attractions and not being made to feel that we were asking too many questions or that the staff were anything but happy to help. The give away a free map and mark out a circular route that takes in all the historic buildings. Pontevedra is one of my favourite places in Spain. there good places to eat all over town.

While visiting this area of Spain (Galacia) not only did we enjoy the Cathedral in Santiago and the wonderful small villages with the great people and outstanding food we also knew that there was good surfing to be found.
