One of the best places in Italy. It was difficult to get here, and the weather was pretty hot! However, with hats, sunglasses, and lots of water it can be more comfortable. The view was absolutely breathtaking!

I visited the place because blue grotto closed. First I thought it will be a silly "chair lift" journey because it looked so simple. Once arrived on the top it is totally different. We can see the best view from Capri island. Worth to try it !

We had several folks tell us that in our limited time we were wasting a lot by taking the lift to the top of the mountain - baloney. DO IT. We took the hydrofoil from Sorrento, caught a bus to Capri, and another to Anticapri. We immediately caught the chairlift to the top. This is the way to do it.... More

This was a highlight for our day in Capri. The chair lift ride up was so peaceful and the views from the top were amazing. You must do this while in Capri. Also, I found it far less crowded at the top than in the main town area.

Walk or take the chair lift. Incredible views that do not disappoint. 360 degree views with a lovely sun terrace and cafe.

I walked up from Anacapri and back. The hill is somewhat steep, but ok to walk, even for unexperienced walkers as me (use good shoes, bring something to drink and take a few breaks). The view from the top of the mountain is truely stunning, but with tourists running around everywhere, I far more enjoyed the trip than the view... More

We almost skipped Capri! So glad we did not. Just steps away from our hotel in Positano was a convenient ferry service to Capri. After arrival, we jumped on the funicular and headed up to Piazza Vittoria. From there we found the chairlift to Mount Solaro. We were positively childlike as we rode up the mountain. It is not very... More

Whoa! The world is beautiful! Bella!!! Italy really boasts of its wonderful terrain (and architecture in other cities, of course). These works of nature are truly magnificent, awesome and simply breathtaking. So picturesque!

You can get here via the cute orange buses. You can find the main bus stop on the right of the grand Marina. Take a cab and it will cost 25 euros. It's worth it when you have a party of 4 or more. Note the grand marina of capri island is not capri. Koreans are driven up there by... More

Probably the best place we visited in Capri. The vistas all around are mesmerising. The breeze is exhilarating And to top that is the Chairlift ride to reach there which is an amazing experience in itself.. As I said Do Not Miss!!
