Mgahinga only has one gorilla family, but that also means that you and your group will be the only one tracking it on any given day... and with five silverbacks it's a pretty interesting family at that! It's pretty steep here, but otherwise straight-forward enough.

We did 2 days of gorilla tracking. It was the most memorable experience. Guides, trackers and rangers are fantastic and having a porter to help you with the trek into the forest was invaluable & highly recommended. An amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience!!

Yes. You really should because they handle the necessary permits required to enter the park. You have to be scheduled. I recommend Mountain Gorilla Coffee Tours.
