I found that Memories was much cheaper than the street vendors for most things! Worth visiting here first for a comparison of prices!

A great shop. Huge varieties of souvenirs, gifts, spices and jewelry. It is very convenient and organized. I really enjoyed the atmosphere there.

Lovely to find clean airconditioned place in dirty Stone town;but very expensive to buy anything just like chocolate,coffee or soap

This place is about five times more expensive than the rest of the shops in Stone Town; the benefit is that it is Air Coditioned, and the shop proprietors do not hound you as you look round the shop trying to sell things to you....More

They take credit cards. Your hotel seems to be situated about 50 minutes from Stone Town. Memories is in Stone Town.
