The beach is good for snorkeling (especially on the right side). It tends to be very busy during the weekends, especially because it is kind of small, it can get easily crowded. there are few possibilities to eat from streetfood, around are few restaurants (but...More

It's a popular spot for families and tourists so it was a bit crowded when we were there. Plus it was a weekend. There are benches in the shade to watch the waves from if you don't want to roast for too long on the...More

Having visited earlier on La Morne, La Cambuse, Flic en Flac and Blue Bay Lagoon, I have to admit that Pereybere is a nice spot but second to Blue Bay in my opinion. I am just judging the sea water and the scenary and the...More

Beautiful , clean and tranquil beach and the beaches a bit further north that you can access by walking on the beach. If you are after relaxed time on the beach soaking up the sun and cooling off on the calm shallow water it’s the...More

This is sometimes billed as one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, but it's a rather shabby public beach, though it does have some nice white sand and palm trees. No good for snorkeling. The reef is too far out.

La Prairie beach is just after Le Morne village and quite simply charming with no people and fabulous water. take food and drinks with you as there are no amenities which just adds to the feeling of seclusion.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius and Indic Ocean. It´s a little beach (specially in high tide), surrounded by palm trees, limpid water, very clean (despite in the middle of little Pereybère town). A number of excellent restaurants around.

We were lucky enough be staying with friends who's property backs onto a beach in Pereybere. Quiet, relaxing and stunning. The water is out of this world.

This small beach in the North of Mauritius is really lovely. Even if the wind is blowing everywhere else, the beach is almost never windy. There are ample trees that provide shade during the day. You can rent kayaks etc. from there. Various food stalls...More

There isn't one right there but if you go a few kilometers towards Grand Baie there is one on the right hand side. I am not sure if it is a private one, or open for public use?
