This is sometimes billed as one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, but it's a rather shabby public beach, though it does have some nice white sand and palm trees. No good for snorkeling. The reef is too far out.
La Prairie beach is just after Le Morne village and quite simply charming with no people and fabulous water. take food and drinks with you as there are no amenities which just adds to the feeling of seclusion.
One of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius and Indic Ocean. It´s a little beach (specially in high tide), surrounded by palm trees, limpid water, very clean (despite in the middle of little Pereybère town). A number of excellent restaurants around.
This small beach in the North of Mauritius is really lovely. Even if the wind is blowing everywhere else, the beach is almost never windy. There are ample trees that provide shade during the day. You can rent kayaks etc. from there.

I do most of the time here to the right side of the beach oast the guys who do water sports another beach just round the side of there ....so nice ....and they say private it's only private to the high tide... More
