We were lucky enough to experience the Nandos swim race from the beach, what a lovely event and the vibe was amazing. Also a very nice beach for skiing and canoeing.

Lovely safe beach for young children with gently sloping walk in to the water and roped off area out to sea. Very soft sand. Shade and food in the trees up above the beach and clean changing rooms/toilets. Recommended

Nice beach, clean as expected and very quiet, plenty of street food traders if you needed food or drinks in the area. The sea was clean but not clear and of course , nice and warm.

Fascinaring, beautiful, calm beach. Shallow waters, no waves, restauration possibilities. One of the best beaches of Mauritius. Top. Ideal with children.

This a smallish beach as you move from coin de mire towards Grand bake. The water is shallow blue and great for swimming. Outside under the green trees are three/four fast food kiosks selling lovely pizzas and icecream. Sunday's and weekends are unusually crowded but...More

Among the safest beaches on the island, this is good for enjoying time in the water. The lagoon part is pretty good for children and anybody wanting to spend time in the sea without worrying about sea urchin or tide or the usual issues. Placed...More

Visited the beach while staying in the area. Beautiful beach with clear, blue, warm water. Soft white sand. No real need for water shoes. There are trees for shade and a restaurant and food vendors. Worth going to the lady (think her name was Nadeen)...More

We walked a good distance along the wall to the right away from the beach, people and vendors. Overpriced food vendors. Beware there are stonefish and sea urchins here, but VERY cool place to go check out the tide pools and corals if you are...More

There isn't one right there but if you go a few kilometers towards Grand Baie there is one on the right hand side. I am not sure if it is a private one, or open for public use?

you will have to get two or three buses I think...first to Port Louis then to Grand Baie and onto Pereybere...takes an hour to 90 mins...total cost about 4 euro ..
