Came upon this by accident while we were looking for the canal locks between the lakes. Nice small park for the memorial how ever no parking spots.

Nice remembrance of the Civil War and its effect on the local population. Not a great location. Tucked into a very small piece of land alongside the Barge Canal. Parking is not always easy. Worth a visit to feel the reverence of the site.

Memorial of war dead from this area. They have put up a memorial stone with information about each of the war dead from this area. Central area is decorated with a grove of trees and most are DEAD. Time to replace them.

A short but worthwhile visit. Well laid out memorial. A nice tribute . We are from Ontario, have an interest in American Civil War. Having been to Gettysburg several times, we decided to check this memorial out. Glad we stopped.
