This museum has been around a long time and is now in new quarters. Perhaps my expectations were too high. I was looking for more of the late 19th and early 20th century American art. There were only a few on display and seemed inferior...More

A wow place. Unique setting with meadows on both sides. Lots of free parking. Mixed media art. The most interesting was a huge screen with moving lights.

The Parrish museum was an interesting example of modern art but having visited MOMA in Manhattan a few days earlier maybe we were spoilt and too high expectations. It was serene and interesting to wander through but only to fill in a hour or so.

Take the 45-60 minutes to come to this amazing museum. Up there with the MOMA, DIA Beacon, Tate Modern and the Getty. You will not be sorry! The building is gorgeous and the collection is beautifully curated. The Highlight of our Hamptons weekend!
