This is the most acoustically correct hall in the country. The hall is beautiful & historic. My all time favorite concert was listening to my granddaughter singing with the Brunswick School Dist Elementary Select choir with the angelic voices. The archtecture of this building is...More

A number of years ago I saw Joshua Bell perform here. It was a truly magical if not spiritual experience. The acoustics are amazing. Personally this is the best venue for music in the entire Capital District! I love the balcony level private booths!

Troy Music Hall....this venue is a Troy Treasure....the seats are a little narrow and a summer concert is a bit tough with no air conditioning but relax and take a look at the beauty of the structure and the quality of the sound. I am...More

My first time going there, had a hard time finding parking, it's in a residential area with off street parking. It is a historic building. Wooded floors that seem to sway with the movement of the crowd. We were set in wooden folding chairs, seating...More

The music hall is beautifully restored and a great place to enjoy a show. Parking wasn't too bad as there a few parking garages nearby. Only slight downside is that it was very warm in the venue during the show but that's my only complaint.

I've had more leg room flying domestic in coach. I've had more ventilation sitting inside a cardboard box. I've experienced faster moving throngs of people waiting in customs lines at African airports. Granted we didn't see a great concert, but I can't imagine enjoying anything...More

The Troy Music Hall is noted for its near perfect acoustics. And that can be a strong reason for attending performances there. But do the acoustics really matter if the performers are performing with electronically amplified instruments? One would think probably not! I’ve been to...More

The acoustics are said to be among the finest in the world. Perfectly restored 19th century hall with ornate architecture, grand ambience, and a much more intimate experience than in an arena or large theatre. It's like stepping into the 1880s. The TSB Music Hall...More

Attended Wonderful work concert here, Glenn Miller Orchestra, perfectly suited to the acoustics in this fine hall. Very intimate, wooden seats a bit uncomfortable, but wonderful sight lines throughout theater. Good selections of beverages and refreshments. Revisited for Postmodern Jukebox here in January, another great...More

You can park on any street for evening events, meters aren't used after 5pm. There is a small free lot on the left side of First St. right after it splits from River St., just South of Monument Square. If you don't mind a... More
