Because of the unusally cold spring the gardens are not as advanced this year, as we get into summer this is something that all rose lovers will take to heart

this is a must-see in the summer and late spring--there are so many different varieties of roses, you can spend a couple of hours making your way around, smelling them all (they don't all smell the same!)

We visited when most of the roses were in bloom and it was breath taking! Such a nice retreat from the City. We will def go again!

Really pretty little garden, with lots of different rose varieties to appreciate. It's close to the university, so nice for taking photos or something if you're in town for an event. There are some benches and pathways, but it's quite tiny. The roses are in...More

Many varieties of roses in this garden. Many are old-fashioned varieties with wonderful scents. Nice to stroll in.

If you want to relax and escape the busy city, this park will provide that atmosphere. The park was quiet, peaceful, and clean. The rose garden was in bloom during the time I visited. The park was an easy walk from Marriott Hotel at downtown...More

I grew up in this park and visit the Rose Garden at least once a year. Friends of mine got married there one year, as do many couples every year. It's a beautiful, serene place to walk through!

Peak bloom happens the second and third week of June. There will be roses on bloom from late May to October unless we get early hard freezes.
