Even if you are lukewarm about history you will enjoy this excellent museum. Accessibility is a bit challenging in this historic building but staff will cheerfully accommodate. Ask about their secret stash of Syracuse China.

If you have a question about Onondaga County you will find the answer here. It is way to small for all the items so they rotate the displays .I wish they had a much bigger space.

Pleasant air-conditioned old building, filled with pieces of history. Wandering through the displays awakened memories of long-ago, Syracuse businesses and more.

Museum is excellent - need to schedule at least 4 to 5 hours to see and read all the information that it has. Excellent exhibit of the underground railroad and history of it. WWI material is also good. Lots to see in the Museum.

A typical regional historic museum. Periodic change of displays. A good source for regional history buffs. I am a donor of items on display.
