The Anglers Association of Onondaga is a not for profit organization with fish and wildlife as the main attraction. Webster pond is a small sanctuary located in the city of Syracuse NY at 2004 Valley Dr. Volunteers operate the pond by opening the establishment so that the public can donate and feed the wildlife. The pond is open year around, opening at approximately 9AM-9PM We also have other activities such as a Junior fishing program for ages 7 to 15. Summer and fall concerts sponsored by outside venders and much more.

UPDATE: Please note: a new non- profit group was formed to assist the Anglers Association in applying for grants, as they don't have the qualifications. In addition, we will help with maintenance, projects, and fundraising. The non-profit "Friends Of Wildlife" was started by Chad Norton and friends. All funds raised by this corporation will go directly to Webster Pond unless otherwise noted . Please make all trail donations payable to: Friends of Wildlife. for more information or to make a donation please call 315-727-2922

Webster's pond has added a mile long trail around the pond to get some exercise while enjoying wildlife. It's a pleasant, flat, trail with an opportunity to feed ducks and geese along the way! Corn kernels are available for 25 cents a container. In summer a fishing program is available for children. A great place to spend an afternoon with... More

Visited Webster's since I was a child. Now I am an adult and still visit there to see the wildlife, relax and take pictures. Would recommend it for families or singly . Kids love it.

Growing up with the pond is the best experience I have had around this area. Super friendly people and staff. There is always something to do when visiting.

This is a great place to visit. You can get close to the ducks and geese. They sell cracked corn to feed the birds and children love it. Great for familys.

Spent three days in Syracuse and we visited here everyday, our 7 year old Grandson got a big kick out of feeding the ducks and looking at the baby ducks. This was a bigger hit than the Zoo! It's a nice walk around the pond with lots of benches, you can donate any amount and get corn to feed the... More

Stumbled upon Webster Pond recently, it's a cute little pond tucked away in Onondaga Valley, The really great part here is that you can feed the Canada Geese. For the most part they're all very friendly and will come right up to you. The walking trail around the pond is quaint. This might not be an all day destination, but... More

If this is on the Syracuse tourism map, it shouldn't be. It's just a little pond on the city's "valley" section that is stocked with fish where kids are encouraged to try their luck at catching one of them. It's a cute place to stop if you have very young children, but the "valley" ain't what it used to be.... More

Before you go, stop at Lee's Feed and Needs, which is under a mile away off of Seneca Turnpike. Although the place is rustic, you can buy a huge bag of crack corn for around $12 (enough for several visits, or a large family to feed the hungry duckies for an hour with buckets full). We keep buckets from Halloween... More

So, this is a place I visited since I was a kid. You can see and feed the ducks and geese. You can note their migration in the spring and fall. Kids even do fishing derbys. It costs next to nothing. they ask for a donation for cups of food to feed the ducks. They appreciate every nickel. this place... More
