The site was very beautiful and interesting to be there, but it was not possible to enter the fortress. Anyway the view was amazing to the New York harbor and the bridgre to Brooklyn. Neighborhood is also worth for having a walk around.

Fort Wadsworth is a beautiful attraction in Staten Island. I went there for the first time on a class trip and was amazed. Great spot if you re interested in photography, as well as the local history. I highly recommend a visit!

I’m not sure about where you would have a reception. There is a church where you could have a wedding, or you can do like my son did and just get married at the overlook with NYC and the Verrazano bridge in the background.
