Gorgeous views and nice walking path around Fort Wadsworth. Plus, there are small goats on the cliffs. They are so precious. Lovely day exploring and walking to the beach.

Place offers fantastic views of Brooklyn, the harbor, the bridge, the original fort, the Hudson and liberty. Really nice spot. Great free tour and just some wonderful hidden history. A must stop if in the area. Unique photos of the Verrazano alone is worth coming...More

A total hidden gem take the tour learn the histort of NY Harbor ,the view from the fort is beautiful Be prepared to walk up hills and into some catacombs 👍

I’m not sure about where you would have a reception. There is a church where you could have a wedding, or you can do like my son did and just get married at the overlook with NYC and the Verrazano bridge in the background.

From the Staten Island Ferry, in St. George, take the S51 to Fort Wadsworth. Only takes 10-15 minutes by bus. Return via same bus. Fort Wadsworth also connects to South Beach/FDR boardwalk through foot path or via same bus... More

check out the top 10 things to do instaten island , most of them are free and if you have kids are very entertaining.
