What a spectacular view and lovely place. Wish more events were held at Fort Wadsworth. Visit this week, Shakespear in the park not to be missed.

Cute, small park right off a main road. Only a few people were there on a beautiful sunny Saturday. We got some great pictures before heading into the city. Lots of free parking!

Gorgeous views and nice walking path around Fort Wadsworth. Plus, there are small goats on the cliffs. They are so precious. Lovely day exploring and walking to the beach.

I’m not sure about where you would have a reception. There is a church where you could have a wedding, or you can do like my son did and just get married at the overlook with NYC and the Verrazano bridge in the background.

From the Staten Island Ferry, in St. George, take the S51 to Fort Wadsworth. Only takes 10-15 minutes by bus. Return via same bus. Fort Wadsworth also connects to South Beach/FDR boardwalk through foot path or via same bus... More
