It is wonderful that Staten Island was one of the first memorials to be completed. The profiles of the Staten Islanders who perished on 9/11/01 was a great tribute to them.

The memorial is more beautiful than I imagined. It does not get enough attention for how much peace it brings once you are there. It is beautifully done in such a way you feel these wonderful people who lost their lives are being honored in...More

This area is still being done but still has a lot to see. This is a great tribute. I like the pictures with the names on it of the victims of who died. Plus you have a great view of the Manhattan skyline and monument.

Another place to remember 9/11/2001. Good picture taking opportunity and free of any crowds. Only 3 minutes walk from the ferry exit point.

There is no admission fee. It is located on a boardwalk that is very close to where the Staten Island Yankees play as well as the Staten Island ferry - The ferry is free too. The only issue is usually parking. Pay the... More

During contruction, the best places to park are the Staten Island Ferry parking lot (Free on Sundays) or the courthouse parking garage located at 54 Central Avenue.
