This is a small zoo, but perfect for spending a Saturday or Sunday with young children. Very sweet and non-stressful for parents.

Great for younger kids. So easy to navigate and see all the animals up close. A much smaller zoo compared to the Bronx Zoo but still great and very easy to get to via cab from the Staten Island ferry.

The reptile house is great, but the entire zoo is well worth a visit. Watch out for special events, it is worth the trip to Staten Island any time.

This is a nice little zoo and good for kids in Staten Island or anyone visiting. Not close to as big as the Bronx Zoo but there are still a good number of animals and pony rides and petting section.
