When I moved upstate 27 years ago, one of the most thrilling finds was discovering Proctor's. I had been been paying top dollar for shows in NYC and I found shows at Proctor's that were just as spectacular at a much lower cost than in the city AND I could afford to bring my family. The theater itself is beautiful... More

They have awesome shows on all levels! I don't think that there's a bad seat in the house. I have gone there since I was a little kid.

Proctor's is definitely growing by Leaps and Bounds. Theaters are big enough but not too big. They still have the main stage with its old charm and two new stages. It really is a beautiful theater old and young alike. It's nice to see the modern sleek lighting and the cozy warm feel in one place. The snack selection is... More

This is a great place to see a show! Live music or full scale broadway shows. The beauty of the theater in its self is well worth the visit.

This season's shows at Proctor's are absolutely the BEST ever! The season tickets are definitely well worth the money. Being a fan of Broadway and any theater really, I didn't expect the quality of the performances to be as great as they have been this year. Every show tops the ones before. If you love theater, get season tickets and... More

I've been to several plays at Proctors and found the actors are excellent. Getting in and out is pretty easy as long as you know your way around. Parking garage on side street. My biggest issue is the seating is the worse I've ever experienced seeing a play or show. I've seen them in all kinds of places including New... More

The John Cleese / Monty Python show was indicating it was Sold Out online. I called the box office and inquired about tickets (I only needed 1) and was told there are "limited view" tickets still available. They advised to get a ticket the night of the performance at the box office to save the online fees. I arrived and... More

Couldn't think of better place to host future cities with the historic character of Proctors set in Schnectady that is in major city redevelopment. As many times as we've been here for plays it was first opportunity to go upstairs where actors rooms are and the kids performed their presentations. Truly is the heart of this area. Parking always a... More

This is a truly classic theatre. Shows rival N.Y.C. !!! In the heart of a revived downtown with numerous restaurants in the immediate area
