This sculpture park was intended to house the works of the designer, but the setting itself became the artist's masterwork. It is possible to visit by appointment on non-open days.

You'll never find anything like this majestic sculpture site anywhere else in the world. It's a must see for anyone visiting the mid-Hudson area. It is closed in the winter, so check online to find out when it opens again.

Opus 40 is the singular most important sculpture park in New York. Bearing witness to the creative endeavors of Harvey Fire will take you on an extraordinary journey. Be sure to reserve time to sit, stroll and contemplate this American masterpiece.

This location has a very unique history and stunning views. It’s a one of a kind site worth visiting. It does not seem safe for young children as there are steep drops throughout the stone creation.

It's interesting what one man will do with imagination, determination and an old rock quarry. Happy climbing!

Beautiful spot. So peaceful. Bring a picnic lunch and relax on the grass in the summer. Gorgeous blue stone structures.

Wasn't sure what to expect here. The grounds belong to a sculpture guy that has since passed. He created this wonderful backyard with all stone designs. They are not typical sculptures. It is more like a maze, with raised areas, circular patterns, little tunnels. It...More
