What a very cool old school racetrack experience in a very nice town. During the meet in August, bring a cooler, the beers are expensive and coolers are allowed.

We go every year. I love that you can bring your own food and drinks and set up a little 'camping" area. We sit near where you can see the horses go by getting ready to race!!! So much fun

I would never had thought of a racetrack as a family event until I went to Saratoga. Have someone there early to reserve a picnic table and spend the day. Kids love the horses, and they get paraded through the picnic areas on their way...More

What an awesome facility! You feel like you just shot back in time walking around the grounds. Huge trees with plenty of picnic tables for families. Great food, great drinks and great times!

I believe the tables you are referencing are part of a restaurant. Not sure if you have to reserve those tables because I believe they are first come first served.

You will feel like you are in a bleacher seat. Check online for the seating availability.
