The four of us (grandpa, 2 sons, 1 grandson) converged on SRCO from Rochester, Brooklyn and Switzerland. We discovered the really great Outfitters website when we started to arrange for canoe rental for a 4 night, 5 day cruise and camp trip. With the services on offer, we quickly decided we would meet at SRCO, taking advantage of the whole... More

I knew nothing about the Adirondacks when my son and I decided we wanted to do a rugged canoe/camping trip in the area. I spoke with several outfitters from a google search and St Regis was by far the most knowledgable, enthusiastic and accommodating group I spoke with. They (Izzy) spent 20 minutes my first call going over exactly what... More

I booked a full day kayak and hiking guided trip for me and my wife and our two 20 something daughters and their boyfriends through St. Regis. What a fantastic day. The whole St. Regis experience was honestly perfect. From my initial phone call with Izzie who cheerfully and patiently talked me through all of our options to our transportation... More

On our first canoe and camping trip in the Adirondacks, St Regis was extremely helpful in recommending trips and equipment for my family. Little Tupper was beautiful and perfect for novice campers. The staff are very helpful and respond quickly and thoroughly to email queries and phone calls. They delivered the equipment on time and offered excellent suggestions. We look... More

Change of others' plans opened five days on our summer calendar. With quick brainstorming, my wife and I opted for an Adirondack paddling adventure. St. Regis popped up on Google, and the ease of accessing their website lured us in. Their responses to emails were efficient, thorough, and professional. Given our experience, time, and interest, Sarah suggested a one-way trip... More

My wife and I took a guided tour (Rollins Loop) and were very pleased. The route was amazing and so was our guide, Tyler, who also happens to be the manager. We saw lots of wildlife, thanks to Tyler pointing out, including a few loons, turtles, fish, and water lilies. He was an encyclopedia of facts, but if you're not... More

SRCO has been out go to outfitters in the Saranac Lake since we started visiting the area. They always take their time -- whether you are a novice or an experienced outdoors person and whether you book with them or not. We have patronized their Saranac Lake as well as Floodwood Rd. location - same experience both places. I know... More

Proximity of Floodwater office is 3 minute walk from water (5 minute carry); arranged for 3 day rental by phone, they provided recommended routes, loaner map, light weight canoe for two easily carried by one; excellent condition equipment; store has most forgotten supplies (food, fuel, gloves etc). I have rented a lot of places NY and MN/Canada, these guys beat... More

We rented a canoe here for two days for our camping trip - everyone that we encountered at this store was SO nice and accomodating, in a very genuine way that is so appreciated. I think pretty good prices on canoes too, and they had everything you could need for camping....great spot! Thanks guys!

Outfitted us for a 3 day canoe trip. Full package was thoughtful and high quality. Advance reservations and planning is required as they gather all the necessary food and put each meal into its own bag, and assemble all the needed gear, ready for your arrival. They took great care to review all the gear with us, including setting up... More
