The Rye Nature Center provides multiple trails through the woods for a delightful spring walk. The daffodils are in full bloom right now, and along Blind Brook one can find a veritable carpet of lesser celandines, as far as the eye can see.

Enjoy visiting with young family; some trails stroller accessible, lovely walk to back of woods to pond, plenty of wildlife to see. Nice playground too. Limited facilities, pond is a great picnic spot.

The Nature Center is a real treasure. Excellent programs, knowledgeable staff and interesting trails for younger kids that do not want to walk far.
