We stopped in for lunch and it was a pleasant experience. The food was excellent and they had a decent drink selection. Service was really good-our server was friendly and prompt. There was a nice view from the restaurant that overlooked the waterfall and the downtown area. The downstairs had a sizable gift shop and an interesting mini-museum. They also... More

Cam here for business and wanted some good beer to do as well. I ordered the sausage platter ($14) and the Brew House Orange Cream beer which is a limited production beer. Unfortunately the meat same out not cooked and I had the waitress Kristin who agreed and was aghast that she served the meal to me. The chef did... More

We were guests of family living in Rochester. Parking along the Genesee River, the Brewhouse is a dominant facility. The second story porch offers a grand view of the Genesee River FALLS. The Brewhouse offers a unique menu containing a wide variety of appetite pleasers, accompanied by a "flight": of four of their brews on tap. Touring the tasting facility... More

I knew nothing of Genesee beer and happened upon the Brew House whilst exploring Rochester. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant as the menu seemed very limited, although the deck offered great views of the falls and you can purchase pints of beer. However, the tasting room was fab. You get to sample 4 beers for $3 from a choice of... More

View of the falls is nice and access to the walkway is nice. Nice menu and good food for a good price and free parking. Did the tasting room which was only $3 for four large samples but the beers were very blah with not much taste at all. Being from Wisconsin and having toured breweries both large and small... More

Went with a friend for lunch and it was a nice place to visit. It was interesting looking back through the years in the museum and remembering actually owning some of the trays. It was very crowded but we only waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Menu selection was good and no more expensive then anywhere else. Only complaint... More

Out of towner, was looking for a place to sample some upstate beers. They were solid, but I was more impressed with the food. Fried pickles were spears which I prefer. Pub sprouts were mustard-mayo Brussels sprouts and were great. Their thick cut BLT is the thickest bacon (1/2") I've seen.

We saw a movie at the Little, then wanted to eat outside. We picked the Genesee Brew House because it was a great evening overlooking the falls and there were fireworks after the Red Wing game!

We're not big beer drinkers, it's beer? No big deal, the food was meh. We had a burger and a beef dip. Neither were exceptional. Was looking forward to the kettle chip they serve with them.... Ah they were like regular potato chips. And a pickle spear? My roast beef was tough, over cooked. The burger was greasy. We had... More

The $2 flight of premium beers in the Pilot Plant of the Brew House was great. Made our way upstairs after to the Pub and had another couple of great beers and so-so appetizer of Brew House Pretzels with dipping mustard and cheese.
