All different activities abound during Summer evenings at Cobbs Hill. Wallking, running, biking, softball, basket ball, tennis, frisbee, and more can be seen (or done) on any evening night.

We went for an early evening walk and there were many people also walking around the reservoir or enjoying other parts of the park. The walk around the reservoir is just under a mile.

Stretch your legs and look across to Rochester's skyline. It's just a kilometer around the reservoir, so enjoy your stroll. Be sure to enjoy the 30's architecture of the granite gate house.

It was a nice large sized park. Plenty of green space, and a big ball field and sporting area. it was well kept and plenty of street parking.

I have walked around the reservoir many times. The only reason it might interest a tourist is the fact that it has the best view of downtown Rochester for photographers looking southwest from a spot near the road around the reservoir.

Cobbs Hill Park is a favorite from my childhood and still is. There are ball fields, lots of swing sets and jungle gyms, plenty of green grass for playing and the pond for winter ice skating.

Cobbs Hill Park was the place of many softball games in my youth but the used hypodermic needles and trash left by the ungrateful are truly a sign of the times. If people could just respect this beautiful park, it could be a more family-friendly...More
